“Wan Cow Pansar”,
Hi
Isan folklore has it that the Buddha's have to stay in the temple because the people are planting rice and the daily walk to collect food takes them through some of the crops. To avoid them trampling part of the crop, they have to stay in the Temple! The translation is "Day to enter (the temple) season" not the rainy season (Na Fon), although it is at the same time. It starts on the 30th July and finishes 26th October for this year 2007.
