Bangkok New Airport
Public Taxis
are located on the 1st floor of the new airport. You will be approached
by more that a few 'reps' stating that they are official airport taxis and
offering to take you to central Bangkok (Sukhumvit) for 800 to 1000 Baht
or more. Its been more or less 12hrs of flight and you may think this is
the easy option, many do, but in reality you will have to wait 10-20 mins
for their taxi and pay more than double. Say 'My ow krap' and go down the
stairs to the first floor where the 'Public Taxi' stand is. They will get
you there for about 350 Baht including toll way charges (motorway toll).
These taxis are regular Taxi Meter
cars and will charge you the meter rate plus 50 baht airport surcharge and
